Profiles of Key Managers
The profiles that follow are those of the members of FloStor’s Executive Committee. In 1996, Bob Weeks formed this committee to make decisions about everything from quality control to staffing and all things in between. Each member brings their own insight to the decision making process. FloStor is extremely proud of the long term relationships established with all employees and the depth of expertise each brings to materials handling solutions.
Bob Weeks
President
"I see my role as focused on the future of materials handling strategies. This way, I can bring to our customers a competitive advantage in their manufacturing and distribution operations. I have found that being a technology leader also keeps members of the FloStor family engaged in our work. Beginning with casters in 1964, it’s always been about going beyond the conventional.”
Bob has always been an entrepreneurial thinker, and now runs a very successful company where his extended FloStor family is thriving. Having brought the firm into the new century through hard work and a high level of integrity, his mission now turns to instilling his own sense of passion for quality, efficiency, and accountability into each and every member of the FloStor staff — at all levels. This quest for continuous improvement is Bob’s next big challenge.
Bob served on the Board of Directors of the Materials Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA), and was past President of the Hytrol Distributors Council.
Eric Landtbom
Director of Sales
"The design, layout, and implementation for materials handling systems is like legal advice, accounting, graphic arts, and other bodies of knowledge: it is not inherently a do-it-yourself prospect. Smart business people who aren't materials handling engineers need to find quality vendors of reliable hardware, software, service, and support. They need to use these quality vendors as they use their other professional service suppliers, as trusted allies. FloStor is such a vendor. It serves its clients as a trusted ally, providing them with the loyalty of a business partner and the economics of an outside vendor. We make sure that our clients have what they need to run their businesses with maximum efficiency and reliability. Many of our materials handling solutions are mission critical, so we give our clients the assurance that we will be there when they need us."
Sam Weeks
Director of Operations
"FloStor has a reputation with its customers and within the industry for providing world class material handling solutions. I’m grateful and excited to oversee proposed solutions that become a reality and most importantly make our customers more efficient and successful."
Keith Bawa
Corporate Controller
“I am really proud to be a part of this organization. I admire Bob's vision of quality "at all costs". I know even I cannot change or in any way influence the "at all costs" philosophy. As a member of the Executive Committee, I am really excited to contribute to FloStor's planned growth and success.”
Keith joined FloStor in November 1998. He oversees all financial and accounting operations. Keith wears many hats at FloStor. His responsibilities include administration, human resources and information systems. He is also involved in corporate development activities including strategic planning and analyzing potential acquisition candidates. Keith has implemented a new state-of-the-art job-costing system providing valuable and timely reports to Senior Management, Project Managers and our customers.
David Almquist
Manager of Engineering
"I think the most rewarding part of working at FloStor is the opportunity I have had to grow in my own skill set with the growth of the company. Bob places a great deal of trust in the abilities of his employees, and that confidence inspires good performance."
David joined the FloStor Engineering team in 1986 as the company was establishing itself as a significant player in the field of materials handling. David's responsibilities over the years have been multifarious, including customer service, order processing, invoicing and job costing. David also serves as the in-house computer network administrator, providing day-to-day maintenance of the servers and individual workstations.

Chuck Ireland
1945-2023
Vice President, Systems Sales
“I am very proud to be part of FloStor. From the first day we were open for business, it has always been understood that this company was created to be the best Material Handling Systems Integrator in the United States. We have always hired the best people and allowed them to flourish. Today we are the best, and we have the awards to prove it. Bob Weeks created an environment that has allowed me to create and implement creative solutions to our customer’s problems. Initially I designed the systems, sold the systems, and then provided installation project management. Today we have complete “teams” that design and implement even better solutions. Now I have the advantage of professional support staff, along with twenty more years of experience.”
Chuck’s strength is understanding the customer’s application, timing, limitations, and creating a concept that that fits within their budget. His scope and responsibility has always been to understand what happens from the receipt of goods through the manufacturing and configuration process resulting in a finished product that can be shipped and invoiced. Known throughout the industry for his creativity, Chuck has always been forthcoming about sharing his experience and knowledge with fellow employees and customers.
